He watched as the pups ate, vigorously. After the pups eating, Coxa devoted herself to the leg and began nibbling but then, she took bigger bites. She stopped and tumbled to her back on porpoise. She giggled as Kna took huge bites out of the gazelle. (Btw to remind you, Coxa is a BIG chicken like thing.)

Coxa smiled. "Oh, yes! Of course, how could I forget? Well lets start with the large one. I think he should be Tommy. And the blue one..."

"The blue one should be Ocean... and the red one.... Fire."

"Very unoriginal," Coxa scolded teasingly. "Wait, let's start over. Why not name the red one Pheonix? And the blue one... "Sapphire," Kna interjected. "And the large one?" she prompted. "Umm, Boulder?" "No! Silly Kna. I like Tommy. I think it's cute."

Coxa laughed. "Stop it, love. The babies are watching." Kna smiled bashfully. "Right, sorry." He walked up to the cubs and addressed them. "Okay, you–" he said poining at Tommy,"–are Tommy. And you are Phoenix and you are Sapphire, got it? Okay got it?" Coxa smiled. "Love, remember they're little, they won't remember until they're old enought. Kna sighed, "Right again, love. Sorry I'm so forgetful. I guess being a father changes someone.

"Yeah no kidding." She giggled. Coxa took the babies in her plumage and brought them close to a clean pond to make them have their first sip of water.

Kna watched kindly as the cubs sputtered and coughed in the water. They squirmed. "Coxa, be done as soon as possible. The cubs don't seem to enjoy it." She nodded, rubbing the clean and pulling them out soaked. She dried them in her soft feathers. In a blink of an eye, they were dry. Apparently there were advantages to being eternally young and magical. "What should we do now, Coxa?" he asked approaching her.

"Well, maybe we should move places to stay. This wasn't very pleasing... was it, Kna?" "Not exactly," Kna answered truthfully. "Maybe a nice clearing with tall grass and tall trees would be suitable." "Don't forget that there are no predators here." "Right again, love. Now where are we going to go to?"

Coxa smiled and they began moving to a better place.

They came across a large plain, with tall green grash that moved with the soft breeze. Tall acacia surrounded the plain and were scattered across it. "Oh, its perfect, Kna!" Coxa exclaimed happily. Kna nodded. "Yes, it is. Why don't you begin settling down? I'll go look around for resources." "Of course, love."

Kna sat down, pondering his thoughts. What was going to happen next?

He looked up as a feather brushed his shoulder. "Kna, love, don't worry too much. But soon we'll live a happy ending" "I hope you're right, love. Though, your mostly always right," he said sighing.

Coxa plumped up her feathers. "I know." She flicked him affectionately with her feathers and walked back under the acacia trees to settle the pups in.
